Importance of Celebrating Student Achievements!
For us, recognizing students' achievements lets them know loudly that we see their efforts and are proud of their achievements, efforts and progress.
Last week at Ahmed Saeed Nalayeh School and Khadija Abdi Langadhe School both held awards ceremonies to recognize and honour students who have worked hard in the last school year.
The last eighteen months have not been easy: remote learning, with its many challenges during the global pandemic, has created trials and obstacles our students had to learn to overcome.
The event, which was really for the whole community, was to recognize and celebrate the successes, EFFORT and achievements of awesome students and promote positive school culture where students feel valued.
Parents are children's first and lifelong teachers! AND Parents want the best education for their children. We value the partnership between home and school and know that parental involvement is the key to success in school.
For us, parents and community members play a vital role in ensuring the success of our schools and students.
When parents get involved in their child's education and school life, the benefits are endless; your participation in our schools makes a big difference.
Ultimately for parents and students, we hope this encourages a sense of accomplishment and achievement that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.
